Next was the hard part... trying to force the flat film to conform to the curve of the headlight cover... this took awhile on the first one. Then when I figured it out, the second one was a breeze.
Last night (June 30, 2012) I decided to put on the Headlight Tinting to our Y1. It was pretty easy to do, since I put on tinting in our living room windows the past couple of weekends, I decided it was time to put these on.
The Nor-Cal HHR Club was founded in December 2005 when Tricia and I purchased our 2006 Majestic Amythest Metallic 1LT from American Chevrolet in Modesto, California in September 2005. I started to search the internet for fan sights (or anythig to be honest) that gave me a place to go for more information on our new buy. I found two such places... one of them doesn't exist anymore, and the other is www.ChevyHHR.net! After looking around for awhile, I registered the domain name www.ModestoHHRClub.com (I have since let this domain name expire), and then the hard job of  searching for members began... and believe me, it was a hard task to convince people to spend $25.00/year at the time. This has since been dropped.. We woed them with freebies we got from Meguiar's and just as they started to ask questions about the club, I handed them a membership application.... and so it goes.

First, I had to clean the headlight covers with Windex, dry them, and then spray a fine mist of water on the covers before peeling the film off and positioning them on the head lights.
I left the car in the sun so the tinting could dry (about 4 hours according to the directions), and then gave then a cure overnight. In the morning, I wiped them down.
