Welcome to the newly re-designed Nor-Cal HHR Club website! The new format is a little wider, overall, giving me more room for a two-column layout for more HHR News that may be happening, including videos, etc, etc. Some pages may not be working probably, please be patien while I fix them!

The Nor-Cal HHR Club was founded in December 2005 when Tricia and I purchased our 2006 Majestic Amythest Metallic 1LT from American Chevrolet in Modesto, California in September 2005. I started to search the internet for fan sights (or anythig to be honest) that gave me a place to go for more information on our new buy. I found two such places... one of them doesn't exist anymore, and the other is www.ChevyHHR.net! After looking around for awhile, I registered the domain name www.Modesto HHR Club.com (I have since let this domain name expire), and then the hard job of  searching for members began... and believe me, it was a hard task to convince people to spend $25.00/year (at the time. This has since dropped to $15.00/yr) for membership dues. We woed them with freebies we got from Meguiar's and just as they started to ask questions about the club, I handed them a membership application.... and so it goes.
Tricia and Karl's Majestic Amethyst Metallic 1LT. 'Mods' done to-date were small, simple and inexpensive. We added the SS-type spoiler; Purple bow-tie appliques, 'Chevrolet' scripts on the side hood; 'HHR' appliques on the front fairings (beside the GM chicklets), and Purple valve-stem caps.

We had the eyelids removed basically because during a trip to the carwash, the brush ripped one off... so we removed the other one since we didn't have one to replace it, and the 'Chevrolet' and 'HHR' scripts were removed when we had body work done on the passenger side, and they needed to blend the new paint with the existing paint.
